The Low Fee Service
SAPA and SAPI has a dedicated Low Fee Service in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Established in 2016, the primary aim of these services is to widen the reaches of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and to offer affordable psychological treatment in our country where trauma abounds, and where racism, poverty and prejudice are embedded in the psychic realities of all South Africans.
These services represent our organisations’ commitment to addressing the relationship of psychoanalysis to social justice.
